MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are investigating a series of thefts from autos that took place in the parking lot of the Aspen Hill Club on Homecrest Road from March 10 to March 15, 2023.

Two victims parked their cars in the lot on March 10 while they went into the fitness center. While they were inside, the suspects broke into their cars and stole one victim’s personal belongings, including credit cards, which were later used to make fraudulent transactions. The suspects broke into another car on the same day and stole property from the owner.

Detectives reviewed motion sensor cameras on a Tesla that had been parked at the location on March 10, 2023, and the footage shows the suspects arriving in a dark-colored Chrysler Pacifica bearing Indiana license plates FL248ACK. One of the suspects is described as a Black male, in his twenties, wearing a black winter hat, a black jacket, a black sweatshirt, light blue jeans, a black glove on his right hand, and black flip-flops. There is no description of the other suspect(s) in the car. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
