NEW YORK, NY – Police have tied the same suspect to multiple unprovoked acts of violence in the Bronx over the past two weeks. According to the NYPD, the attacks happened within subway stations in the Bronx.

On March 19, the suspect approached a 38-year-old woman inside the East 138th Street station. He punched her in the head without notice or provocation and fled.

The woman suffered facial injuries.

The next day, the suspect struck again. This time, his victim was a 24-year-old woman who was seated inside a subway car on the southbound six train as it entered Hunts Point station. Without warning and unprovoked, he struck the woman in the face and fled the station.

Detectives used cell phone camera footage to get photos of the suspect and now, police are asking the public to assist in identifying him.
