Police in Lancaster searching for man accused of assaulting minor

LANCASTER, PA – A Lancaster resident, David Ray Lopez, 33, faces charges including statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and indecent assault.

Lopez is accused of sexually assaulting a minor multiple times between May and August of 2022. The incidents took place in the early morning hours when the victim’s parents were at work.

Following a thorough investigation, a criminal complaint was filed, and an arrest warrant was obtained for Lopez. The Manheim Township Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone with information regarding Lopez’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the department at 717-569-6401 or submit a tip anonymously online.
