LINTHICUM, MD – On Wednesday, officers from the Northern District responded to a report of a stolen credit card at the Sheraton Hotel in Linthicum. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two suspects had checked into the hotel using the stolen credit card.
During their investigation, officers recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun, approximately 260g of suspected marijuana, and $3,212 in cash from the suspects’ hotel room.
Officers also learned that the male suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm. Both suspects, Kevin Keith Dawkins, and a juvenile female, were arrested and charged accordingly.
Dawkins, a 19-year-old from Glen Burnie, MD, was charged with multiple offenses, including possession of a loaded firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The 17-year-old juvenile female from Pasadena, MD, was also charged in connection with the stolen credit card and drug and firearm offenses.
