16-year-old reported missing in Mt. Olive believed to be in Newark

Newark, New Jersey – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is asking the public for their assistance in locating Mohamed Diarra, a 16-year-old from Mt. Olive Township who was reported missing on Friday, April 7, 2023.

Mohamed, who is originally from Newark, was last seen on April 6, 2023, at 11 p.m. The authorities believe he may have returned to Newark. Mohamed was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black Adidas sweatpants, and he is known to frequent downtown Newark.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information regarding Mohamed Diarra’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential, and they could result in a reward.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Mohamed Diarra and bringing him home safely. If you have any information regarding Mohamed’s whereabouts, please contact the authorities as soon as possible.
