Two teens shot in Fordham Heights drive-by shooting

NEW YORK, NY – Two teenage victims were shot and rushed to the hospital after a drive-by shooting in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx Friday morning.

According to a police report, at around 2 a.m. on Friday, three unknown individuals discharged multiple rounds from a gray Hyundai Sonata in the vicinity of 1950 Andrews Avenue.

The incident resulted in the injury of two 18-year-old male victims who were struck by the gunshots. One of the victims sustained a gunshot wound to the back, while the other victim was hit in the right calf.


After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene in the gray Hyundai Sonata, heading westbound on 179 Street. The victims were rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital for treatment and are stable.

The NYPD has released images of two individuals they are seeking in connection with the incident. The police are asking for anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and help identify the suspects.
