45-year-old shot and killed inside Baltimore apartment complex

Baltimore, MD – A man was fatally shot early this morning in the Southern District of Baltimore. According to police reports, officers received a call at around 1:30 a.m. reporting gunshots in the 2700 block of Fisk Road. Upon arrival, officers found a 45-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services were called and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are currently investigating the incident. They are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward and contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.


The victim has not yet been identified and no suspects have been named at this time. Residents in the area are being asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

This incident marks the latest in a string of shootings that have plagued the city of Baltimore in recent weeks.
