WASHINGTON, D.C. – A popular beer garden at the D.C. Navy Yard that has become a favorite for Washington Nationals fans is looking to open new franchises. Owners revealed this week that Delaware is on their list.

Dacha Beer Garden, a popular destination for locals and tourists in Washington D.C., is looking to expand on the East Coast with the help of potential franchisees and investors. Co-owners Dmitri Chekaldin and Ilya Alter said they are seeking high-net-worth investors who are interested in a successful franchise model, unlimited support, and high profit margins.

The franchise will focus on securing prime locations in high-traffic areas along the East Coast, including Virginia, Delaware, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, while also considering other desirable locations across the country.

Dacha Beer Garden is well-known for its Bavarian-style beer gardens with a world-class selection of beers, ciders, wines, spirits, and traditional Bavarian-inspired food. Its successful locations in DC’s Shaw neighborhood and Navy Yard regularly host events such as fundraisers for social causes, special occasions, and an atmosphere that keeps regulars returning for more. The franchise will work with new owners to help them recreate a unique Dacha experience in their own neighborhoods, including the brand’s signature giant murals.

It’s located across the street from Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals baseball team.

Since opening its first location in DC’s Shaw neighborhood in 2013, Dacha Beer Garden has seen remarkable success, leading to opening a second location in 2019 at Navy Yard.
