Allegany County Animal Shelter offers “Hounds Around Town” program for dog lovers

ALLEGANY COUNTY, MD – Are you looking for a new way to get out and enjoy the outdoors?

Animal lovers can now take shelter dogs for a day out with Allegany County Animal Shelter’s “Hounds Around Town” program. This initiative allows individuals to take an adoptable shelter dog out for the day, giving them much-needed breaks from the kennels and providing enrichment and socialization.
