Suspect Threatens Cashier with Knife During Robbery in Northeast Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on April 7, 2023, at a business in the 1400 block of Cleveland Avenue. The suspect in the surveillance video threatened a store employee with a knife before taking money from the register.

The suspect appeared to buy a two-liter bottle of soda before pulling out a knife and demanding all the money from the register. The suspect is described as a white man, 20 to 30 years old, around 5’8″, 150 to 160 pounds, with a goatee, brown hair, and wearing a black hoodie, gray pants, and black shoes.
