JACKSON, NJ – Jackson Police Department detectives arrested four individuals on drug-related charges in the 60 Acre Reserve Neighborhood on April 13. The arrests were made after the detectives conducted surveillance on the area in response to complaints from residents about drug use and sales. During the surveillance, detectives observed one of the suspects conducting a hand-to-hand drug transaction with another individual inside a parked vehicle.
After the suspect was arrested, detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop with the second vehicle as it tried to leave the area. Three individuals inside the car were detained and subsequently arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed multiple bundles of heroin, crack cocaine, scales, ski masks, and two loaded handguns. One of the handguns contained hollow point bullets, while the other had a high-capacity magazine.
The wax folds of suspected heroin found on the first suspect matched those allegedly sold by the individuals in the second vehicle. Additional crack cocaine was later found during a further search of the arrestees at police headquarters.
The four individuals arrested during the incident were Daniel E. Meadows, 39, of Jackson, Nicholas S. Marucca, 21, of Neptune City, Kwalsky J. Narcisse, 24, of Freehold, and Liam S. Clark, 18, of Farmingdale.
All four were charged with multiple drug offenses and weapons violations, including distribution of controlled dangerous substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of firearms.
All suspects were taken to the Ocean County Jail and await their court appearances. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
