Caught on Video: NYPD releases photos of suspect who kidnapped woman in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives investigating an early Friday morning kidnapping attempt in Gravesend scoured through security camera footage on Friday. During their search, they found a camera that shows the suspect approaching the unknown woman and carrying her to his minivan.

Now, the New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle used during the kidnapping and the suspect.

According to police, at around 1:45 am on Firday, an unknown female victim was kidnapped by an unknown male individual at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue.

“The unknown male placed the victim into a minivan before fleeing northbound on Stillwell Avenue,” the NYPD said in a statement today.




The victim is described as a female in her twenties with a light complexion and long hair, approximately 5 5  and approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a striped shirt, blue skirt, and white sneakers.

The suspect was described as a male in his thirties with a light complexion and facial hair, approximately 5 10 and approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants, and black sneakers.

The vehicle is described as a late model Toyota minivan with unknown registration.
