OXON HILL, MD – A Maryland player’s long days of frustration were erased in a matter of seconds when they won a whopping $230,443 Fast Play prize. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said the unexpected windfall couldn’t have come at a better time.

According to the Maryland Lottery, the lucky winner purchased their ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Oxon Hill. The player said they were having a particularly difficult day and decided to try their luck with the Fast Play game.

“I was feeling so frustrated and overwhelmed,” the winner said. “I thought maybe buying a lottery ticket would help me feel better, even if I didn’t win anything big.”

But the player’s luck was about to change. As soon as the ticket printed, the player realized they had won a massive $230,443 prize.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the winner said. “I kept checking the ticket over and over again to make sure it was real.”

The winner plans to use their prize money to pay off some debts and take a much-needed vacation. They said the unexpected win has lifted a huge weight off their shoulders and given them hope for the future.
