DORCHESTER, MA – Wednesday, officers from the District B-2 Anti-Crime Unit arrested Dimitry Philippe, 19, of Malden, and Ghustin Boyce, 20, of Everett, after discovering loaded firearms on both suspects. The arrest took place at 2:20 AM near Harvard Street and Spencer Street when officers conducted a query on a motor vehicle and found that its registration was revoked.

After initiating a traffic stop and making contact with both occupants, officers asked the suspects basic questions which they could not answer. Both Philippe and Boyce were informed that their vehicle would be towed, and they were asked to exit the vehicle. At this point, officers noticed a change in both suspects’ demeanor. A pat frisk revealed loaded firearms in their waistbands, later identified as a Glock 17 and Glock 19x.

Philippe and Boyce were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, and unlawful possession of ammunition. Philippe also faces charges for operating a motor vehicle after revoked registration. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
