Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help in Solving Fatal Shooting Inside Business

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A shooting inside a Germantown Avenue business is being investigating by the Philadelphia Police Department.

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a deadly shooting that took place on April 6, inside a business located in the 5900 block of Germantown Avenue.

At approximately 1:15 pm, an unidentified black male suspect entered the business and fired multiple shots at a 35-year-old male victim, striking him multiple times throughout the body. The victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene in a silver Pontiac Bonneville.


The city of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case. The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, wearing a black Nike hat, light grey Adidas sweatshirt, blue and white striped garment around his waist, and light-colored track pants. Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is encouraged to come forward.
