Maryland State Troopers visit Forestville grade school students on Career Day

Jeff Jones

FORESTVILLE, MD – Longfields Elementary School hosted the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack last Friday, April 28th for “Career Day”. The troopers talked with students about the role of the Maryland State Police, shared safety tips, and even gave honorary trooper badges to the students. It was a fun and engaging event for all who attended.

The troopers shared valuable insights about their job with the young students, who were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet with them. The Maryland State Police also encouraged those interested in a career in law enforcement to apply through their website.

The event was a great success, providing both inspiration and important safety knowledge to the students. It is hoped that the Maryland State Police will continue to engage with local schools to provide valuable educational opportunities for children in the community.
