Small winners reported in New Jersey, as Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $52 million

TRENTON, NJ – Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot on Friday and the total prize has risen to $52,000,000.

But, eleven New Jersey players won $500 each in the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, April 28, after matching four of the five white balls drawn.

One lucky player who purchased a ticket with the Megaplier option won $1,500. In addition, almost 19,000 other New Jersey players won a combined $84,534 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600.


The winning numbers for the April 28 drawing were 18, 38, 53, 62, and 64, with a Gold Mega Ball of 20 and a Megaplier Multiplier of 03.

The Mega Millions is a popular multi-state lottery game with drawings held on Tuesdays and Fridays. The next drawing will be held on Tuesday, May 2, and the estimated jackpot is $157 million.
