Jackson Township in the market for two Harley Davidson motorcycles

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Born to be wild? The Jackson Township government has put out bids requests to purchase two Harley Davidson motorcycles. No, there’s no biker gang forming at town hall, the purchase is for the Jackson Police Department as it continues its effort to rebuild the motorcycle patrol division.

The Township of Jackson has announced that it will receive sealed bids for the provision of two Harley Davidson motorcycles. The bids will be opened and read on May 12, 2023, at 10:00AM in the Municipal Building Meeting Room located at 95 West Veterans Highway, Jackson, New Jersey 08527.

Proposal packages are available at the Jackson Township Purchasing Department or by email request to mhorta@jacksontwpnj.net. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), N. J. S. A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts).


All submissions should be addressed to the Township Clerk, Attn: Purchasing Agent, Township of Jackson, 95 W. Veterans Hwy., Jackson, NJ 08527, enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked with the name and address of the bidder and the purpose for which the bid is being submitted. Corporations and partnerships should include a completed Disclosure of Ownership form (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) and a Non-Collusion Affidavit.
