Argument turns deadly in Lebanon

LEBANON, PA – A verbal altercation in Lebanon, on Wednesday escalated into a tragic incident resulting in the death of Thomas Vance, a 33-year-old male. Lebanon City Police responded to the scene on the 0-100 block of Jones Street after receiving reports of a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they found Vance with a gunshot wound, and despite being transported to a Dauphin County Medical Facility, he succumbed to his injuries. Another individual involved in the altercation was taken into police custody without incident.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident was not a random act of gun violence but involved individuals known to each other.

The Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case.
