Man punched and robbed of phone and wallet in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY – A man was punched in the head and robbed near Seward Park in lower Manhattan on Tuesday and police have released a photo of the suspect today.

The NYPD reported that a suspect approached a 46-year-old male victim in front of 30 Allen Street around 1:30 a.m. and punched him in the head before taking his cell phone and wallet. The suspect then fled the scene, and the victim refused medical attention.
