NEW YORK, NY – A series of burglaries within the 6th Precinct have led the New York City Police Department to seek public assistance in identifying a male individual connected to these incidents.

On Tuesday, at about 8:00 pm, an unidentified male reportedly entered a residential home on Mercer Street and West 4th Street through the rear window. Once inside, he removed jewelry valued at approximately $33,000 before fleeing on foot. He used scaffolding to exit through the same window he entered. No injuries were reported.

A similar event occurred on Wednesday, around 5:00 am, where the same individual allegedly entered a home through an unlocked rear window. The intruder fled the scene without removing any property. No injuries were reported in this incident.

Later that morning, at approximately 5:40 am, the suspect reportedly broke into another home in the same vicinity, removing two Apple iPhones, electronics, and personal items valued at approximately $4,950. He exited using a scaffolding and fled on foot. Again, there were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a male aged between 25 and 35, last seen wearing a black shirt with a white Yankee symbol on the back and the word “Crisp” on the front, gray pants, gray sneakers, a black hat, and a black face mask.
