Pittsburgh Man Faces Charges for April Shooting Incident

PITTSBURGH, PA – An arrest warrant has been issued for Jaquan Steadman, 24, of Pittsburgh, relating to a shooting incident on April 28, in the 2000 block of Penn Avenue.

Steadman is charged with two counts of Criminal Attempt Homicide, four counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, one count of Possession of a Firearm Without a License, and one count of Persons not to Possess a Firearm.

The incident was investigated by the Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2, who were alerted after two males with gunshot wounds arrived at a hospital emergency room in stable condition. Officers located a crime scene on Penn Avenue in the Strip District. Steadman is currently held in the Allegheny County Jail on other charges.
