JERSEY CITY, NJ – Former New Jersey Governor Christ Christie avoided a potential arrest warrant for not paying a parking fine he was issued in Jersey City that was issued on April 18th. The ticket was issued after Christie parked outside the upscale L’atelier Du Chocolat pastry and chocolatier located near the intersection of Newark and 2nd Street.
Christie, who boasts himself as a man of law and order, was ordered to pay the ticket or appear in Jersey City municipal court by May 2nd.
It was only after a report by Florida blogger and Bridgegate mastermind David Wildstein that Christie paid his fine. Wildstein alleges Christie paid his fine after being texted regarding the blog post about the ticket by Wildstein, his former political underling.
The $50 parking ticket was finally paid, but ten days late.

The ticket was issued at around 1:16 pm on Tuesday, April 18th. Christie parked in a spot that was clearly marked as no parking between 1-3 pm on Tuesdays.
Menu items at L’atellier Du Chocolat pack a calorie-laden punch that includes pastries, tarts, lava cakes, ganache, cannolis, cake pops, and assorted chocolates.
Christie, who is trailing in every major poll for Republican nominees for President in 2024, said he will decide soon whether or not he will challenge former President Donald J. Trump for the nomination.
In the last few polls, Christie has polled between 0% and 1% against other candidates in the running.
