Rider killed in crash between two motorcycles in Parkville

Parkville, MD – A fatal motor vehicle collision was reported by police on Sunday at around 12:35 p.m., prompting a response from the Baltimore County Police Department.

The incident took place at the intersection of E. Joppa Road and Emla Avenue in Parkville.

According to the investigation conducted by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team, a 2008 Suzuki SX 4 was attempting a left turn to travel westbound on E. Joppa Road. At the same time, a 2016 Yamaha R6 was traveling eastbound on E. Joppa Road.


The Yamaha motorcycle collided with the rear driver’s side of the Suzuki.

The impact of the collision resulted in the ejection of the Yamaha’s operator, and a rear passenger in the Suzuki was injured. Upon arrival of EMS, the injured passenger was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The driver of the Yamaha motorcycle, identified as 25-year-old Dillon J. Neimiller, suffered critical injuries and was also transported to a local hospital. Despite efforts to save him, Neimiller was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
