Delaware State Police Arrest Woman, Seek Man in Connection with Attempted Robbery at Macy’s

NEWARK, DE – Veronica Lewis, 40, of Perry Point, MD, was arrested by Delaware State Police following an attempted robbery at the Christiana Mall’s Macy’s on Saturday. She faces charges of attempted first-degree robbery, hindering prosecution, and second-degree conspiracy.

Thomas Donnelly, 41, also of Perry Point, MD, who accompanied Lewis, physically assaulted two Macy’s employees when confronted about the stolen goods.

Donnelly remains at large with a warrant issued for his arrest on charges including first-degree attempted robbery, possession of controlled substances in Tier 1 quantity, second-degree conspiracy, two counts of third-degree assault, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
