Hurricane Harbor opens this weekend as the summer season draws near

JACKSON, NJ – Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, one of the largest water parks in the Northeast, is set to kick off its 2023 season with a spring preview starting on May 20. During this preview period, the park will offer a selection of its popular attractions while introducing new enhancements for guests to enjoy ahead of the summer season. Operating hours for the spring preview will be from 11 am to 5 pm on May 20-21, and from 11 am to 6 pm on May 27-29, June 3-4, and June 10-11.

  • Enhanced Menus: Guests can look forward to a more diverse selection of food options, including jerk chicken sandwiches, Caribbean salad, bacon-wrapped pork kabob, dole soft serve, and more.
  • VIP Lounges: Those seeking a premier experience can upgrade to private VIP lounging areas with access to games and televisions.
  • Splash Island: Opening this summer, Splash Island is a tree house play structure that offers over 50 play features, including mini slides, curtain waterfalls, and a giant water bucket ready to soak the splash-seekers below.
  • Seven Brand New Slides: Little ones can enjoy seven colorful new slides designed for smaller riders, offering gentle thrills and excitement. The slides include Cowabunga, Jellyfish Twist (two slides), RipCurl, Shark Attack, Splashin’ Seal, and Stingray Racer.
