Police say bodies of 76-year-old woman, man found in Brooklyn apartment badly decomposed

Brooklyn, NY – Two bodies were found inside an apartment in Brooklyn on Monday by the New York City Police Department. Investigating officers reported the bodies of a man and an elderly woman were both badly decomposed.

Police received a 911 call on Monday reporting two unconscious individuals at 206 Quentin Road, apartment 3D.

Officers with the 62nd precinct and firefighters with FDNY responded and were told by witnesses that a 39-year-old male and a 76-year-old female were found unconscious inside the apartment, specifically in the living room area.


When the officers made entry, they saw the bodies exhibited signs of decomposition. They had been dead for an unknown period of time.

The cause of death is yet to be determined and will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME). As of now, the investigation remains ongoing.

The identities of the deceased have not been released by police.
