Man fires gun at victims during verbal altercation in Brooklyn

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify an individual involved in a shooting in Brooklyn.

The report states that an unknown male engaged in a verbal altercation with two other males in front of 785 Macdonough Street. The disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation, following which the unidentified individual distanced himself and discharged a firearm in the direction of the victims. The man then fled on foot, heading westbound on Macdonough Street. No injuries were reported in relation to this incident.

The man sought by the police is described as approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 250 and 275 pounds. He has a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored shorts, and a dark baseball cap.


The New York City Police Department is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
