Two Powerball winners in New Jersey take second tier prizes of 50k and $100k

ROSELLE, NJ – Winners were abound on Monday as two lucky New Jersey Lottery players celebrated their wins from the Monday, May 15 drawing.

Matching four of the five white balls and the Power Ball, these lucky ticket holders secured the second-tier prize of $50,000. However, one of the tickets also included the Power Play option, effectively doubling the winnings to an impressive $100,000.

The winning tickets were sold at Krauszer’s Food Store in Bridgewater, Somerset County, and T & J Liquors in Roselle, Union County.


The winning numbers for the Monday drawing were 01, 26, 28, 55, and 58, with a Red Power Ball number of 25. Additionally, the Power Play multiplier for the draw was 2X. In total, 15,097 players across New Jersey were fortunate enough to take home an estimated $80,064 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The Powerball jackpot is now $146,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Wednesday, May 17, at 10:59 pm.
