Do you know him? NYPD seeking to identify Midtown robbery suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department’s Midtown South Precinct is seeking public assistance to identify a male suspect in relation to a robbery that took place on Sunday, May 7, 2023.

At approximately 4:30 am, in front of 333 5th Avenue, an unidentified male reportedly approached a 42-year-old male, forcibly taking $300 cash and the victim’s debit card. The suspect then fled southbound towards 33rd Street and 5th Avenue. The debit card was used for approximately 20 unauthorized transactions.
