Officer nearly pinned by driver during police incident in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Two suspects were apprehended following a theft incident at the JC Penney located at 7900 Ritchie Highway on Wednesday. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m., upon receiving reports of a theft in progress.

Upon arrival, the officers encountered the described suspects attempting to enter a vehicle. A dangerous situation ensued when the suspects’ vehicle reversed towards the officers, nearly pinning one against a patrol vehicle.

Two officers were injured during the incident, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries and later released from a local hospital. Natesha Tierra Hubbard, 28, and Naia Nishae Stansbury, 21, were subsequently arrested and charged.
