Man Beaten, Stripped and Robbed During online Sale meet up in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – A Queens man was beaten and robbed during an attack while he was meeting a suspect he met online and agreed to meet in person to conduct a sale of merchandise. After being attacked, his attackers forced him into a car, removed his clothes and dropped him off in Brooklyn.

On Saturday, at around 2 am, a 27-year-old male victim arranged a meeting with an unknown male individual near 135th Street and Grand Central Parkway. The purpose of the meeting was to sell merchandise.

While engaged in conversation, three unidentified male individuals approached the victim from behind and physically assaulted him by punching and kicking him.


The assailants then forced the victim into a gray 2022 Toyota Corolla.

One of the individuals brandished a firearm, threatening the victim and striking him on the head with the weapon. The perpetrators forcibly took the victim’s clothing, wallet containing credit cards, and car keys. The assailants dropped off the victim near a park in the vicinity of Eastern Parkway and Rochester Avenue, within the boundaries of the 77th Precinct. The vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained lacerations to the head and neck and received medical attention from Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

The vehicle in question is described as a gray, four-door 2022 Toyota Corolla with a New York license plate bearing the number KZZ3656. Images of the vehicle can be found at the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information (DCPI).
