Buffalo Man Arraigned on Assault Charges Following Resident’s Death

BUFFALO, NY – On Thursday, Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced that 28-year-old Brandon D. Hurst of Buffalo was arraigned for assault charges, following the death of 57-year-old William B. “Willie” Henley.

The charges relate to an alleged assault in an apartment building on the 900 block of Broadway in Buffalo on November 25, 2022. Hurst was held without bail and a return court date has yet to be scheduled. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
