Deadly Shooting Leaves One Dead and Two Injured in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – A distressing shooting incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, in the vicinity of River Street and East 13th Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi of the Paterson Police Department, along with Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, said that upon reaching the scene at approximately 2:25 a.m., officers discovered a 22-year-old male from Paterson suffering from gunshot wounds.

The wounded individual was promptly transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Two additional victims, a 24-year-old and a 33-year-old, also from Paterson, subsequently arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center to be treated for gunshot wounds. The investigation is currently in progress.
