Three suspects identified in murder of 16-year-old Claudia Quatey

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has released footage of three suspects wanted for the brutal murder of 16-year-old Claudia Quatey last week in Queens.

On Wednesday, May 10, Quatey was found by police unconscious and unresponsive in front of 121-14 Lucas Street with a gunshot wound to the head.

She was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in critical condition. She died the next day.


During their investigation, 113th Precinct Detectives learned that after 16-year-old girl was fatally shot in the head by the suspects, they fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on 122 Avenue.

Today, the NYPD has provided descriptions of the individuals involved.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a slim build, standing approximately 5′ 11″ to 6′ tall. He was last seen wearing a white mask, black and gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and a slim build, approximately 5′ 10″ tall. He was last seen wearing a black mask, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants, and red sneakers.

The third suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and a medium build, standing approximately 5′ 6″ tall. He was last seen wearing a black mask, navy hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
