Alexandria Police Charge Man with Two Bank Robberies

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Alexandria Police Department has recently charged Jaquan Royal, a 27-year-old resident of Prince George’s County, Maryland, in connection with two local bank robberies. Royal is accused of the March 23, 2023, robbery in the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, and the April 3, 2023, robbery in the 400 block of John Carlyle Street. He is currently being held at an adult detention center in another jurisdiction.
