Baltimore County police make arrest in 2018 murder cold case

BALTIMORE, MD – On last Wednesday, detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department made a significant breakthrough, bringing closure to a long-standing homicide case. Kenneth Davis, 32, was arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Tracey Carrington that occurred on Thursday, September 6, 2018, in the unit block of W. Overlea Avenue.

Carrington, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds as she attempted to enter a vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

After a detailed and prolonged investigation, detectives identified Davis as the suspect. Davis is currently detained at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.
