Fatal Hit-and-Run Under Investigation in Capitol Heights

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred on Sunday, at approximately 12:45 pm. The victim, Dyanny Leiva Sabillon, a 20-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, was found critically injured on the 6700 block of Calmos Street and later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

The unidentified driver and passenger struck multiple unoccupied vehicles and Sabillon before abandoning the stolen vehicle and fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
