NYPD releases photo of suspects wanted for Subway assault of 75-year-old man

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for two individuals in connection with an assault that took place last Friday, at the Atlantic Avenue subway station within Transit District 32 and the 78 Precinct.

The victim, a 75-year-old male, was in the station’s elevator when two unidentified males engaged him in a dispute. The individuals proceeded to assault the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim was treated for minor injuries at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn- Methodist Hospital.

The police department has provided descriptions of the suspects. The first is approximately 20-years-old, about 5’5” tall, of slim build, and last seen carrying a light brown book bag. The second suspect is also about 20-years-old, approximately 5’8” tall, with a heavier build. Anyone with information should contact NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
