NYPD investigating Multiple connected armed robberies in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A series of robberies within the 44, 46, and 47 Precincts have led the New York City Police Department to request public assistance in identifying the individuals involved. The suspects, captured in media attached to the police request, are believed to be connected to three separate incidents.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at around 11:50 pm, an unidentified male reportedly entered Kanam Convenience Store located at 1115 Jerome Avenue in the 44 Precinct, brandishing a firearm. The suspect fled on foot without injuring anyone or taking any property.

On Friday, May 19, 2023, at around 9:59 pm, three unidentified males entered POP Convenient and Smoke Shop at 707 Nereid Avenue in the 46 Precinct. One of the men displayed a firearm and ordered a 31-year-old employee to the ground. The suspects made off with approximately $1,400 in cash and goods, and then fled in a white Chevy vehicle.


At about 11:45 pm that same day, three unidentified males approached an 18-year-old male in front of 1710 Montgomery Avenue within the 47 Precinct. Upon his refusal to hand over his property, one suspect brandished a silver revolver and the group made off with the victim’s belongings valued at approximately $4,388. The trio then escaped in a white sedan.

The suspects are described as three males, dark complexion, and approximately in their mid-20s. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact DCPI.
