Boston Detectives Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Unarmed Robbery

BOSTON, MA – On Sunday, an unarmed robbery incident occurred outside a church at 241 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury. The Boston Police Department’s District B-2 Detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect involved.

According to the victim, the suspect, described as a mid-twenties Hispanic male with a stocky build, approached and stole a chain from her neck, which held the wedding band of her late husband. He then attempted to snatch her purse but failed as the victim defended herself. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot towards Maywood Street.
