Boston Police Arrest 14-Year-Old in Shooting Incident

BOSTON, MA – At approximately 12:45 AM on Monday, officers assigned to the District B-2 Anti-Crime Unit responded to a shot spotter activation at 55 Malcolm X Boulevard. They arrested a 14-year-old male at the scene following a brief struggle.

After a description of two suspects fleeing the area was provided, officers conducted a search and found the suspects. A loaded firearm, later identified as an H&R Model 949 with four rounds in the chamber, was recovered from the waistband of the 14-year-old suspect. He is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition and is scheduled to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
