Bronx Man Indicted for Kidnapping and Starving Two Teen Siblings

BRONX, NY – Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark recently announced that Michael Ramos, 34, has been indicted on charges including Kidnapping, Unlawful Imprisonment, Assault, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The charges come after an investigation revealed that Ramos severely beat and starved a 14-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother under his care, keeping them locked in their apartment for weeks.

The victims were threatened and assaulted with various weapons and were deprived of food. Ramos is due back in court on August 16, 2023.
