Bronx Shaken by Three Shootings Within Four Hours

BRONX, NY – On Thursday, the Bronx experienced a series of shootings within a span of four hours. The shootings occurred at different locations, leading to several injuries.

In the first incident, a woman in her 20s was shot in the arm around 4 p.m. while walking along Teller Avenue and E. 167th Street. She was promptly transported to Lincoln Hospital and is expected to recover.

The second shooting occurred four hours later, approximately at 8 p.m. An unidentified male was shot twice within a store at 902 Hunts Point Avenue. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital and is also expected to survive.

Around 8:20 p.m., a third incident took place at 1311 College Avenue. A 21-year-old man was shot in his left leg. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is predicted to recover. The incident occurred amidst what appeared to be an argument between occupants of two different vehicles. Three men on Citi bikes were present during the incident, one of whom was the 21-year-old victim. There have been no arrests in relation to these incidents.
