NYPD issues silver alert for missing elderly woman

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a missing person. Denise Alce, an 88-year-old black female, was reported missing on Friday, June 2, from her residence on Home Street in the Bronx.

According to the police report, Denise Alce was last seen at approximately 4:30 PM on the same day. She was spotted at a bus stop situated at the intersection of East 149 Street and 3 Avenue in the Bronx, New York. Concerns have been raised for her well-being, prompting authorities to seek community support in locating her.

Denise Alce is described as standing 5’5″ tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has a dark complexion, medium build, and gray hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a dark blue baseball hat, a long sleeve brown shirt with floral patterns, gray pants, and gray sneakers.


Authorities have released a photograph of Denise Alce to aid in the search efforts.
