14-year-old reported missing in North Potomac

Gaithersburg, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations (SVID) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Ariana Nayyar, a 14-year-old girl from North Potomac who has been reported missing.

Ariana was last seen on Friday, June 2, at approximately 3:00 p.m. in the 16000 block of Raven Rock Drive. Concerns for her well-being have grown, prompting authorities to appeal to the community for any information that may help locate her.

Ariana Nayyar is described as approximately 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing around 105 pounds. She has brown eyes and long hair, which is currently dyed red. At the time of her disappearance, Ariana was wearing a black hoodie, black and white pajama pants, and black shoes. It is possible that she may be carrying a black and white backpack.

Authorities urge anyone who may have information regarding Ariana Nayyar’s location to immediately contact the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000, which is available 24 hours a day.
