Police investigating multiple burglaries

NEW YORK, NY – Two separate burglaries within the 104th and 72nd Precincts have prompted the New York City Police Department to seek public assistance in identifying the perpetrators.

In the 104th Precinct, an unidentified male entered a residential house in the vicinity of Forest Avenue and Putnam Avenue on Sunday, May 28, 2023. The intruder took a laptop, computer hardware, a purse, and jewelry, estimated at approximately $1,450 in total.

Meanwhile, in the 72nd Precinct, an unknown individual is wanted for a burglary that occurred on Friday, May 26, 2023. The individual broke into 149 Prospect Park Southwest and stole an unattended package containing clothing valued at $350.

In both cases, no injuries were reported, and the individuals fled the scene on foot.
