Attempted Robbery Reported at Navy Federal Credit Union in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Friday, at around 1:45 p.m., an attempted robbery was reported at the Navy Federal Credit Union located at 825 Bestgate Road, Annapolis. A suspect, described as a black male wearing a red and blue shirt with black sleeves, blue shorts, dark sunglasses, and a black head covering, walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, implying possession of a firearm.

 However, when the teller left the counter, the suspect exited the bank on foot. Despite a thorough search of the area, the suspect remains at large. CID Robbery detectives are urging anyone with relevant information to contact 410-222-4720 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
