Fatal Motorcycle Collision Under Investigation in Temple Hills

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – A fatal collision in Temple Hills on Saturday involving a motorcycle is under investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. The deceased rider’s identity will be disclosed once his family is notified and his name is confirmed.

On Saturday, around 3:45 pm, officers arrived at the intersection of Branch Avenue and Curtis Drive following a distress call. The initial investigation suggests the victim was travelling south on Branch Avenue when he attempted a U-turn into the northbound lanes. A northbound vehicle collided with the motorcycle at the intersection. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver involved in the collision was unharmed.
