TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River Mayor Maurice “Mo” Hill today thanked members of the township’s Orthodox Jewish community for their support today in a last minute get out the vote message sent exclusively to the community.

Hill sent the video exclusively to a Lakewood news website, Lakewood Alerts.

“I look forward to serving your community over the next four years,” Hill said. “My team is the only team who will work honestly to address your concerns. We have a good record of it over the last four years and I think we can do better over the next four years.”

Hill urged Orthodox Jewish voters to get out and vote today for his Column A team.

A lifetime Lakewood resident before relocating to Toms River, Hill said he fully understands the needs of the growing Orthodox Jewish community in town.

“I understand your community’s needs,” Hill said. “I look forward to resolving these issues as we work together.”

Earlier today, Councilman Daniel Rodrick laid out a vision plan for Downtown Toms River and beyond, saying he will reverse Hill’s massive development plan for the small village.

“Toms River does not need to become Red Bank, Jersey City, Lakewood, or Hoboken like Mo Hill wants us to become,” Rodrick said. “We can revitalize and grow our town and still be Toms River.”

Polls are open until 8 pm tonight.

Ambrosio, who has been criticized for declaring bankruptcy twice and her involvement in a 2020 late-night hit and run crash has not contacted Shore News Network for an election day message.

“Our town is in trouble,” Rodrick said. “Mo Hill will make it worse and Ambrosio will hand the town over to special interests. Please come out and vote for me and my column D team today.”
